About The Position
Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) is adding a Regional Director to be an important member of our growing Operations Department. We are seeking a multi-site leader with a proven track record in leadership and specialties in growth and efficiencies. The Regional Director will work closely with hospital teams to improve performance and implement initiatives, overseeing 10-20 hospitals and ensuring tailored support for each location. The Regional Director is focused on helping the hospitals achieve their operations, medical and culture related goals. The Regional Director works with the Hospital Director (and other hospital team members including the Medical Director and Practice Manager) to assess current hospital performance, recommend improvement opportunities, and create and support the execution of an annual hospital improvement plan. The Regional Director brings strong operations knowledge and significant medical awareness to the role and either directly supports or accesses from the regional functional excellence team the support needed within the hospital. The Regional Director is sensitive to the unique needs of each individual hospital and works with the Hospital Director to determine the appropriate level of ongoing contact and intervention. The Regional Director supports the implementation of corporate initiatives with the hospital by working closely with the Hospital Director and Practice Manager/Medical Director. The Regional Director coordinates requests for services from the hospital with key functional groups within the region and provides concierge like services based on specific hospital needs. The Regional Director is a member of the regional team reporting to a Regional Vice President and shares best practices with, and actively supports, his/her Regional Director peers and matrixed functional team members. It is expected that the Regional Director will oversee 10 - 20 hospitals, depending on geographic density and tenure of clinics (defined as years within the MVP organization) within a region.
