About The Position

This Regional Director of Operations role will cover Northern Indiana and an Ohio Region Provides general oversight and guidance to Community Executive Director Establishes, in conjunction with the Executive Director , the Community’s goals and objectives Assists Executive Director in developing and implementing organizational, financial, marketing plans, policies and procedures Collaborates with the Executive Director in preparing and controlling annual budget Evaluates the Community’s adherence to all applicable regulations and approved operating procedures Reviews Community’s liability, property, and compensation insurance coverage and provides recommendations to ownership Acts as an on-call resource to the Communities and Gardant on a 24-hour basis to address urgent matters Reviews and monitors account receivable activities at each Community to ensure collection and billing process/policies are adhered to Conducts formal performance evaluations at the end of the introductory period and on an annual basis Supports in the planning and provision of informational in-services and other staff development activities Participates in department manager interviews and the hiring process Monitors Community’s Quality Improvement and safety programs Maintains a schedule of on-site consultative visits with Executive Director and department managers Provides onsite day-to-day support in absence of an Executive Director Completes a minimum of quarterly on-site visit for each Community and provides oral and written feedback to Executive Director to ensure Community is meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Evaluates overall operations including, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with daily standup meetings, call light review, QAPI program, rent readiness, finance & revenue accounting and TELS compliance Meets with community ownership representative(s) on an ongoing, periodic basis concerning the overall performance and status of the Community

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 5 years healthcare experience required with multi-site management experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of state, federal and local regulations .
  • Valid driver's licensed with record in good standing per insurance vendor
  • Position will require extensive travel and overnight stays and the ability to work on a team and with a team of diverse professionals who value love, compassion, and dignity.
