About The Position

The Regional Director of Sales Operations is a trusted advisor to community sales teams, prospective residents, and their families. This role establishes strong working relationships with onsite leadership while supporting the implementation of sales growth strategies across multiple communities. The Regional Director of Sales Operations balances strategic oversight with tactical support—helping communities achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy, ensuring compliance with corporate sales standards, and providing recommendations and insights to the Vice President of Sales Operations.

Requirements

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, families, referral sources, and outside contacts.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop sales teams.
  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze CRM/Yardi reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Organizational skills, time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of current federal and state laws pertaining to senior living communities.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.
  • Passion for serving seniors and supporting community success.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of five (5) years in the senior living environment.
  • At least three (3) years of sales leadership experience in senior living.
  • Proven track record of occupancy growth and referral development.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Public relations/advertising experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for vacant sales leadership roles until positions are filled.
  • Support communities even when fully staffed by providing supplemental sales coverage, tours, inquiry calls, and follow-up when needed.
  • Support regional sales strategies and quotas, ensuring community teams are aligned with corporate expectations and compliance standards.
  • Step in tactically when needed to ensure continuity of lead management and occupancy growth.
  • Partner with community leaders on execution of 12-month sales & marketing plans, brainstorming ideas and supporting collaborative efforts to drive results.
  • Serve as a comprehensive training leader: lead onboarding, provide coaching, and reinforce company sales culture.
  • Deliver hands-on training in communities, modeling best practices in tours, inquiry calls, and CRM usage.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales Operations to ensure consistency of sales methodology across the region.
  • Ensure accuracy of CRM/Yardi entries and compliance with company reporting standards.
  • Translate community and regional data into recommendations for strategies to the VP of Sales Operations.
  • Regularly report sales activity, conversion trends, and occupancy projections to the VP of Sales Operations.
  • Support teams with outreach events and referral engagement without replacing their accountability.
  • Occasionally join communities for key outreach meetings/events to reinforce relationships.
  • Act as a regional leader and community partner: holding teams accountable while building trust and motivation.
  • Conduct team coaching calls with community sales leaders.
  • Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with the VP of Sales Operations for alignment and reporting.
  • Support and actively participate in group calls led by the VP of Sales Operations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, recognition, and continuous improvement across communities.
