About The Position

O'Neill Healthcare is currently looking for a Director of Quality Assurance to join our fantastic team! The Regional Director of Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and continuously improving quality assurance programs across multiple locations within an assigned region. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, company standards, and best practices while driving a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
  • Experience in quality assurance or quality management
  • Leadership experience overseeing multiple sites or regions
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Proven experience leading audits, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement programs
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned region

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of quality assurance programs across all regional locations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry-specific regulations and accreditation requirements
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments; identify risks and lead corrective and preventive action plans
  • Analyze quality data, trends, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with regional and site leadership to address quality issues and improve operational performance
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff
  • Support regulatory surveys, inspections, and external audits; serve as a primary regional point of contact
  • Investigate incidents, complaints, and non-conformances; ensure timely resolution and documentation
  • Develop and deliver quality-related training and education programs
  • Prepare and present reports on quality performance, risks, and improvement efforts
  • Promote a culture of accountability, patient/customer safety, and excellence
