The Regional Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence across multiple full-service hotels within a designated region. This position focuses on delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, driving operational efficiency, and leading a team of General Managers and Department Heads. The role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams, manage financial performance, and uphold the company's culture and values.

  • Hold teams accountable for results and strategy execution while motivating and inspiring performance.
  • Mentor and guide General Managers and Department Heads to foster positive employer/employee relations.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop General Managers and other key positions.
  • Plan and conduct travel to properties within the assigned portfolio for hands-on leadership and support.
  • Champion the company's culture, vision, mission, and core values.
  • Lead and motivate team members across multiple hotels, prioritizing employee and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct property visits and routine checks to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform thorough performance evaluations and set clear goals for success.
  • Establish action plans for underperforming hotels and follow up on implementation.
  • Implement training programs to enhance service quality and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, OSHA, and ADA regulations.
  • Manage new openings and acquisitions processes for hotel onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to manage personnel records in compliance with laws.
  • Lead the adoption of technologies to enhance guest experience and streamline operations.
  • Monitor and address guest feedback to maintain brand perception and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Strategy team on sales and revenue management strategies.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and financial management processes for each property.
  • Audit financial reports to identify risks and opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in planning and implementing company policies and engage in community affairs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in hotel operations management at an Area or Regional level, preferably with Marriott/IHG.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Proficient in reporting and accounting practices for budget management.
  • Exceptional verbal, comprehension, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel industry standards and regulations.
  • Strong orientation towards guest service excellence and relationship building.
  • Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Willingness to work an average of 50-55 hours per week.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media strategies.
  • Familiarity with hotel brand metrics and scorecards.
