The UHS Corporate Human Resources Department is hiring a Regional Director – Human Resources Acute Care / IPM that will collaborate with corporate partners and facility teams to operationalize key strategic HR initiatives, aligning with the UHS Mission of providing superior quality healthcare services. Regional HR Director - Acute / IPM The selected candidate will deliver Human Resources strategy, guidance, and support to the Acute Care Hospital Leadership Teams at their assigned locations in DC, FL & SC, HR oversight of Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS with a network of specialty health and medical providers, as well as other entities within the Acute Care Division. They will align HR priorities with business objectives to drive organizational results. The role requires expertise in organizational development, transitions, acquisitions, new project launches, employee relations, recruitment, compensation, retention, compliance, wage and hour matters, and training. The candidate will have a clear understanding of departmental operations, their connection to corporate functions, and how their role contributes to overall organizational success. Under the direction of the Division Director of Human Resources, the Regional HR Director ensures effective execution and oversight of division HR strategy, policies, and processes. Building strong relationships with leadership, the candidate will be a trusted advisor and strategic business partner. Additionally, they will support the development and upskilling of HR capabilities among field resources, participate in recruitment and hiring of HR Directors in assigned areas, and engage in ongoing professional development and project work.
