About The Position

This Director role is crucial for Alight's healthcare solutions' next-level success. You will collaborate with internal teams, ensuring exceptional service and solutions for insurance brokers and national customers.

Requirements

  • Possess a higher level of education, along with 5+ years of sales/distribution experience through brokers and consultants.
  • Experience in SaaS and/or solutions-based roles within the healthcare or healthcare products sector is advantageous
  • Demonstrate high organization skills and proficiency in both verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Able to display presentation skills and demonstrated adaptability as well as strategic thinking
  • Have a proven track record of relationship building (internally and externally) and sales success
  • Experience in territory-based distribution roles
  • Be willing to travel up to 30% as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
  • Alight requires all virtual interviews to be conducted on video.

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with sales leaders and reps across teams to develop a unified go-to-market strategy. This strategy encompasses benefits administration, benefit guidance, healthcare navigation, and point solutions.
  • Focusing on forming and expanding deep broker relationships with key targeted firms.
  • Mapping, accessing, and prioritizing key broker and consulting relationships in a defined territory is essential. This involves focusing on key producers and supporting staff.
  • Building relationships with key brokers and consultants involves utilizing marketing tools and hosting events. It also requires understanding their goals and making interpersonal investments.
  • Tracking and reporting activities and metrics associated with actions is crucial. This includes showing progress, headwinds, and successes to management and leadership.
  • Prioritizing continual education on evolving solutions and impactful developments in the healthcare industry is essential.
  • Engaging with brokers through a blend of in-person meetings, virtual interactions, and attending industry events.
  • Driving awareness and understanding of our full suite of solutions. This includes HR Technology, Human Capital Management, Payroll, and Navigation. This is particularly important within the prioritized consulting community in an assigned territory.
