About The Position

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital are seeking a savvy and driven business and sales professional and an exceptional leader for the Business Development Team. Join our executive leadership team as Regional Director of Business Development in Illinois! As the Regional Director of Business Development you will report directly to the CEO and assume responsibility for driving growth by identifying new opportunities, building relatioships, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance the company's market presence in Illinois. Hartgrove Behavioral Health System consists of a 160-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for a diverse population of all ages. Hartgrove is a flagship behavioral health facility within Universal Health Services, Inc. and throughout Illinois. Hartgrove is a state-of-the-art facility offering some of the most advanced technologies and programs found in the behavioral health field. We are dedicated to our teamwork approach and provide a highly compassionate and therapeutic environment, as well as offering a continuum of specialty programs throughout our inpatient, partial and outpatient services. Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient psychiatric and partial hospitalization treatment for children and adolescents, ages 3 to 17. We strive to provide compassionate care to every patient we serve.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s Degree in a clinical or business related field strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: Proven track record in business development/community relations with 5 - 10 years senior level leadership experience within a large organization, preferably including inpatient and outpatient behavioral health and substance abuse.
  • Licensure/Certification: Clinical licensure (LCSW/LCPC/LSW/LCP) strongly preferred. Must have valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
  • Knowledge: Extensive understanding of marketing concepts and data analytics, knowledge of behavioral health and treatments, as well as strong account development and management skills. Must have strong leadership and team building ability, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships to support the company's growth objectives in the Illinois market
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners
  • Develop and execute marketing startegies that align with company's goals
  • Conduct market reseach to stay updated on industry trends, competetive landscape, and emerging opportunities
  • Lead the activities of and provide leadership and direction to the Business Development/Community Relations Staff
