About The Position

The Regional Director, Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing the execution of supply chain operations within the Orlando Health organization in a designated region. This role involves managing local inventory, warehousing, and distribution, while collaborating with corporate teams to ensure compliance with procurement and contracting standards. The position requires strategic leadership to enhance supply chain performance and foster collaboration across facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business management, Healthcare, or related field.
• Five (5) years' experience in Supply Chain, including at least three (3) years in progressively responsible management or supervisory roles in a medium-to-large Integrated Delivery Network.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations for supply chain functions including local inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
• Collaborate with corporate experts in purchasing, contracting, analytics, inventory management, and distribution.
• Prepare budget, goals, and business plans for areas of responsibility and measure progress.
• Identify and resolve facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.
• Lead and manage supply chain functions within the region.
• Create opportunities for collaboration across facilities and serve as a conduit between facilities, the region, and corporate functions.
• Develop tactical strategies to meet key performance measures including fill rate and contract compliance rates.
• Create and implement regional and local supply chain standards and goals.
• Ensure local execution of corporate goals related to contract implementations across all service lines.
• Educate and enforce compliance with procurement, contracting, and corporate standardization policies.
• Monitor trends and changes in supply chain within the health industry and other industries.
• Identify opportunities for system-wide collaboration and cost-savings.
• Build and manage relationships with regional leadership to ensure supply chain is a strategic partner within the region.
