About The Position
VITUS Search Group has partnered with a nationwide Transportation organization to find a Regional Diesel Field Service Manager in Washington State. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and certifications. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic and 3 years of management or foreman experience. As a Regional Diesel Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and training of company vehicles and products. Your duties will involve traveling to various shops within your region to service and train on company vehicles, ensuring that all operations are conducted in secure and stable shop environments, rather than roadside. You will diagnose mechanical problems, perform repairs and maintenance on all equipment, and train other technicians to maximize safe and productive operations. Additionally, you will be required to complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and concise manner, utilizing Factory Service Manuals for repairs. This position offers a company vehicle, tools, and a cell phone to facilitate your day-to-day duties.
