The Regional Credit Analyst II (Strategic) is responsible for the collection activity and monitoring of credit risk for an assigned portfolio of strategic customers, and reports to the Credit Supervisor. The Analyst works closely with our Strategic Account Sales Team and local sales branches regarding delinquent customers and establishing appropriate credit limits to maximize our revenue. Our Credit Analyst Team: Analyzes the risk for both new and existing customers to establish or increase/decrease credit limits. The role has credit granting authority up to $300K and will provide recommendations to the Credit Supervisor for amounts above this authority. Fully accountable for the collection activities of a portfolio of contracted customers including working closely with our Strategic Account Sales Team and local sales branches to ensure we maximize revenue while ensuring we manage our accounts receivable effectively. Develops and maintains strong working relationships and rapport with both internal and external customers. Completes new account set-ups, including any special requirements as outlined in the contract. Conducts credit reviews for Strategic Accounts per policy, i.e., new accounts, annual reviews, and when an account has reached their credit limit or if Strategic Accounts Management requests a review for terms or limits modifications. Provides troubleshooting assistance and operational re-alignment remedies to the Strategic Account Sales Team and local sales branches by analyzing customer account information and routing guides to drive optimum account performance. Effectively communicates and escalates issues to the Credit Supervisor or other appropriate levels of management. Utilizes multiple communication channels (phone, email, portals, internal SRM system) to follow up on overdue payments and transactions status, ensuring their timely resolution. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all customer communications, improvements and collections activities in the SAILFIN SRM.(sales receivables management system) This is a summary of the primary accountabilities and requirements for this position.
