About the Role The Regional Coordinator - Northern and Southern California plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation and success of Umoja Community programs across the region. This is a hybrid position that involves both remote and on-site work. The Regional Coordinator is responsible for building relationships with community colleges and other educational institutions in Northern and Southern California, identifying opportunities for partnership and collaboration, and providing support and guidance to Umoja Community programs in the region. They will work closely with Umoja Community staff, college faculty, and students to ensure the effective implementation of Umoja Community programs and initiatives. In addition, the Regional Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and facilitating trainings, workshops, and conferences for Umoja Community educators and staff. They will develop and deliver presentations, create educational materials, and provide ongoing support and guidance to educators involved in Umoja Community programs. The Regional Coordinator will also be involved in data collection and analysis to assess the impact of Umoja Community programs, identify areas for improvement, and inform program development and expansion.
