About The Position

The Global Director of Operations Finance & NA Regional Controller is a finance leader responsible for driving profitability, operational performance, and financial integrity across CTS’ global manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with Corporate, Operations, and Product Management teams to support decision-making, improve margins, and ensure consistent financial practices worldwide. Reporting to the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Finance Lead within the Advanced Materials & Solutions business unit, this position oversees global operations finance activities including standard costing, cost variance analysis, cost savings initiatives, and working capital performance. The role also leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for operations and coordinates closely with corporate finance. As the NA Regional Controller, this leader is accountable for financial controls, reporting accuracy, and compliance across North American manufacturing sites, with site controllers reporting directly into the role. The position plays a key role in developing finance talent, standardizing processes, and implementing best practices across a global footprint. This role requires strong manufacturing finance expertise, hands-on experience with SAP, and a proven ability to partner with operations leadership to influence performance. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution, along with strong leadership and communication skills in a global manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing operations, supply chain, and product cost drivers
  • Ability to assess financial impacts of operational decisions, capital investments, and make-versus-buy analyses
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives such as footprint optimization, automation, or capacity expansion
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience helping operations teams quantify financial benefits of productivity and efficiency initiatives
  • Ability to establish and track KPIs tied to operational and financial performance
  • Strong scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis skills
  • Experience supporting pricing, mix, margin, and profitability analysis
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities through trend and variance analysis and recommend corrective actions
  • Experience driving ERP improvements, system integrations, or reporting enhancements in SAP environments
  • Comfort working with large data sets and improving data quality and reporting consistency
  • Ability to streamline month-end close, forecasting, and management reporting processes
  • Experience working across cultures, geographies, and time zones
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility and influence with global stakeholders
  • Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, evolving global organizations
  • Understanding of SOX, internal audit requirements, and manufacturing finance controls
  • Ability to identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies
