About The Position

Interested in a Career that matters? The Regional continuous improvement specialist works across the Americas Microbes Production region that includes 10 plants in Canada, North America, Brazil, and Argentina to deploy employee training programs and support strategic regional and plan continuous improvement breakthrough objectives The Regional Continuous Improvement Specialist serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for training and Go4Excellence initiatives within Americas Microbes Production. This role drives strategic continuous improvement projects at both regional and site levels while owning the end-to-end design, implementation, coordination, and delivery of the regional employee training program. The specialist focuses on standardizing best practices, building capability through structured training methodologies (including TWI-Job Instruction, peer to peer, and OneMS systems), and fostering a culture of operational excellence, learning, and skill development.

Requirements

  • Process improvement methodologies, analytical and problem-solving skills, project management, training, facilitation, strategic thinking, communication, collaboration
  • Proactive, influence without authority, adaptability, attention to detail, lifelong learner
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate and production setting
  • Strong background in continuous improvement including strategy deployment, cascading performance management, A3 problem solving, rapid improvement events, leader standard work, & standard work
  • 3 - 5 years proven work experience in continuous improvement, training, and facilitating teams
  • Ability to travel to Americas Microbes sites in US, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina
  • Ability to become a certified TWI-Job Instruction master trainer
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, conduct and evaluate)
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, train adult learners, and influence change across multiple sites
  • Excellent project management, data analysis, and dashboard/reporting skills

Responsibilities

  • Train, certify, and coach site master trainers to deploy job instruction training at their plant.
  • Lead or facilitate regional and site strategic breakthrough objectives and initiatives using continuous improvement methods.
  • Lead OneMS learning management system, facilitate improvement of employee onboarding program.
  • Create and execute job instruction training programs regionally.
  • Support the implementation of strategic breakthrough objectives
