Regional Consultants must successfully partner and collaborate with Sales Managers, Regional Directors, and Associate Regional Directors in covering strategically important and large market geographic areas in the Intermediary Sales channel and are responsible for driving sales of Allspring’s mutual funds, separately managed accounts, money funds and DCIO business at all broker dealers and RIAs. In addition, the Regional Consultant must promote the importance of leveraging and partnering with resources to improve the client engagement and provide “best in class” resources, investment insights and thought leadership to our key firms, advisors, and centers of influence. Examples include: Portfolio Managers and Product Specialists, Wealth Management Specialists, and Internal SMA Specialists. Regional Consultants sales achievement success will be driven by several factors such as: client service model, segmentation strategy, effectiveness at point of sale, consistency, and focusing on the right products, advisors, and firms. Regional Consultants take a consultative approach at every meeting and are expected to consistently have top tier activity exceeding their weekly, monthly, and annual activity target metrics. Regional Consultants are expected to have a diverse mix of business that represents asset allocation, fixed income, and equities. They are also expected to provide “best in class" resources to their clients. Regional Consultants are responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with key centers of influence and top financial advisors to provide portfolio consultation and product solutions for internal and external investment distribution channels. Finally, Regional Consultants consistently ask for business and close sales opportunities.
