About The Position

The Regional Clinical Sales Specialist at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for advancing the sales of orthopedic surgical products by providing clinical and logistical expertise in hospitals and operating rooms. This role involves independent coverage of surgical cases, management of billing and purchase orders, logistics, and asset management, all while working closely with Sales Consultants and under the supervision of management.

Requirements

• Experience in clinical sales or a related field, preferably in the medical device or orthopedic industry.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic surgical procedures and products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with surgeons and hospital staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a surgical or operating room environment.
• Knowledge of hospital billing and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently guide and assist surgeons in the operating room by providing clinical and technical support of orthopedic surgical cases.
• Advance DPS sales by serving as the sole Company representative to provide direct customer support by attending surgeries and ensuring that the proper equipment is available and functioning.
• Troubleshoot and apply independent judgment to respond to physician needs; address customer requests; effectively handle hospital billing, build/close purchase orders.
• Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with other sales, clinical, and marketing teams.
