About The Position
This position is for a local truck driver operating under the Dollar Tree account. The driver will be home every 5.5 days and will work primarily at night. The job involves touch freight, meaning the driver will be responsible for unloading the freight. The work schedule consists of 5 days on and 2 days off, with an average workday of 10 to 12 hours. Drivers have the option to work a 6th day for an additional $85 on top of their daily rate. The position requires a clean driving record and a valid CDL-A license, with a minimum of 3 months of experience required. The truck must be left at the account during time off, and drivers will need to chain up in inclement weather.
