Pay Breakdown Weekly Miles: ~2,000 miles per week Mileage Pay: $0.56–$0.63 per mile ($1,120–$1,260) based on verifiable experience Unload Pay: $285 per load (driver hand-unloads with gravity rollers) Loads per Week: Average 2–3 $570–$855 unload pay Average Weekly Earnings (miles + unload): $1,690–$1,975 Up to $2,100+ possible with 3 loads Pay Frequency: Weekly direct deposit Home Time & Schedule Home weekly for full 34-hour reset (day may vary based on freight) No fixed daily shifts — schedule driven by FMCSA HOS and routes 100% assigned late-model truck Home parking allowed in secure, approved locations Job Duties & Freight Details Hand-unload dry van freight using gravity rollers at store locations (floor-loaded, no pallets, no lumpers) Boxed freight: 1–35 lbs per box Trailer averages 1,500–2,500 cases (varies by route/season) Multi-stop deliveries (2–6 stops per load) Average 2–3 loads per week Training Paid 3-load mentor ride-along ($200/day, ~1–1.5 weeks) Full pay (mileage + unload) starts immediately after training Operating Area Regional runs based in Eastern Texas, covering: TX, NM, AZ, Southern NV, Southern UT, Southern CO Benefits (after 90 days) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and paid holidays
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum age 21
- Minimum 3 months solo tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months
- Acceptable driving record and safety history
- Physically able to perform hand-unloading duties
- No SAP drivers
- Must pass urine and hair follicle drug testing
