About The Position

The Regional Business Manager for Nestlé USA will lead the sales efforts for the Nestlé Waters and Premium Beverage division, focusing on the foodservice/on-premise channel. This role is responsible for developing and implementing annual business plans that align with overall business strategies while achieving profitable sales objectives. The position requires strong account management skills and the ability to build relationships beyond the buyer level, ensuring collaboration across various functions to meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Field Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Category Development with a CPG, distributor, operator, wine, beer, or spirits supplier.
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles with consistent delivery on KPIs.
  • Strong execution skills and P&L experience.
  • Problem solver, self-starter with good communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Nestlé Corporate Business Principles and the Nestlé management and leadership principles.
  • Advanced knowledge of interrelationships of key functions and their initiatives (Field Sales, CD, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of core business processes and fundamentals (Sales/Distribution, Business/Customer Planning, Financial Reporting, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of customer businesses and foodservice industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual business plans aligned with overall business and customer strategies.
  • Execute plans for assigned geography/account(s) that align with Nestlé Waters and Premium Beverage objectives.
  • Utilize account management skills to leverage insights and effective selling/negotiation skills to achieve business results.
  • Build business relationships beyond the buyer to include cross-functional leaders and reporting levels at least one up from the buyer/category manager.
  • Achieve agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with peer groups to share and leverage best practices.
  • Advocate for customer needs and close gaps by collaborating with business partners.
  • Manage existing and develop new partnerships with hotels, restaurants, bars, and strategic non-commercial partners.
  • Execute national account plans for lodging/travel, chain restaurants, and non-commercial businesses.
  • Support Route to Market team with training, program execution, and distributor sales representative relationship building.
