About The Position

In this role, you will lead business development and sales efforts across a defined geographic region, focusing on partnerships with Independent Manufacturer Representative (IMR) agencies. You will develop and execute strategies to expand market presence, drive revenue growth, and strengthen brand preference with key end-users, distributors, and buying groups. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and product teams, you will train and guide IMR sellers, optimize account plans, and identify new opportunities for market expansion. This role provides the chance to influence organizational growth, shape go-to-market strategies, and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. With significant travel and hands-on engagement, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s business objectives and long-term strategy.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven success in selling to end-users with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience in the safety or related industries is preferred
  • Established relationships with large companies is a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (Salesforce.com and Power BI preferred)
  • Ability and willingness to travel 40–60% of the time
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging sales environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies with IMR agencies to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach
  • Build and maintain relationships with key end-users, distributors, and buying groups
  • Establish and implement account plans at targeted accounts to drive growth and brand preference
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing to articulate the value proposition of offerings and train IMR sellers on sales strategies, hazard identification, and solution proposals
  • Lead outbound campaigns and partner with inside sales to penetrate new accounts and expand existing relationships
  • Identify and engage specialized or regional channel partners to reach new market segments
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing feedback and recommendations to leadership
