Thermo King is seeking a Northeast Regional Bus HVAC Service Manager to serve as the main service liaison between customers, Thermo King dealerships, and Thermo King LLC, ensuring consistent service quality and effective communication on transit bus HVAC service-related issues.

  • Deliver prompt, expert service guidance, instruction, and training to customers and Thermo King dealerships within your designated region of responsibility.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing dealership service performance by promoting safety, efficiency, quality, and technical expertise.
  • Leverage ethical decision making to collaborate effectively with sales, service teams, internal departments, and leadership to promptly resolve issues.
  • Oversee and ensure dealer adherence to the authorized dealer agreement concerning service-related matters.
  • Utilize integrity to efficiently oversee customer goodwill expenses within your designated region.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by communicating customer concerns and insights to assist in the development of long-term technical and product solutions aligned with market needs.
  • High School diploma or associate's degree at a minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration principles, or relevant experience in the transportation sector, vehicle manufacturing, or other heavy industrial industries is preferred.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data driven mindset to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels and maintain a customer centric approach.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
