About The Position

Description Summary: The Regional Banking Market Director is responsible for achieving the Regional Banking team goals within the market through executing on an aggressive sales strategy to achieve financial performance metrics. The Regional Banking Market Director will accomplish this through developing, coaching, and leading a group of Regional Banking Relationship Managers in their market. They will develop and implement a plan for their market and execute upon that plan to include building strong relationships with their OCR partners within their local market. Duties and Responsibilities: Grow and expand the number of Primary Banking Relationships in each market. Is responsible for the coaching and development of the existing team of colleagues to high performance and career advancement as well as identify and recruit the best talent within the marketplace. Provide feedback on Regional Banking products and services and assist in the development of products to meet the needs of the Regional Banking Segment. Provide oversight in local markets approvals, credit overrides and pricing exceptions. Responsible for participating in and/ or leading OCR functions within the market. Develop strong relationships with all essential OCR partners, including Regional Presidents, Credit Partners, Treasury Management, Retail Area and District Managers, Commercial and Private Banking and Mortgage leadership amongst others. Champion and sponsor larger credit opportunities through EMT credit committee. In conjunction with market teams, help win new business relationships through recommending differentiated products and service solutions to team/customers. Leverage your market network and COI's to expand your team's market exposure and presence. Assist in the strategy and management of the local/regional bank, while providing leadership at the company level to successfully execute Regional Banking strategies and goals. Represents the bank within the community through representation on key boards and at business and community functions. At the direction of the Regional President may perform some Market President functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of an additional 4 years' combination of education and business banking experience. 10 plus years of Business/Commercial banking experience Preferred Qualifications: Community involvement/presence and networking Management experience Strong consultative sales background. Previous coaching, leadership, development skills/experience. Ability to work in fast-paced environment with strong focus on customer service. Strong credit experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of an additional 4 years' combination of education and business banking experience.
  • 10 plus years of Business/Commercial banking experience
