About The Position

Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking candidates looking to elevate their career in the financial services industry by joining our Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) team as an Internal Wholesaler. The Internal Wholesaler will assist their institutional director in the sales and marketing efforts in their assigned territory. The Internal will report to the Internal Sales Manager of Inland Securities Corporation.

Requirements

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of Financial Services or Related Sales Experience.
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates highest standards of personal and professional integrity, adheres to company's policies and procedures, and complies with applicable laws, government rules and regulations.
  • Positive, action-oriented attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain Alternative Investments to advisors who are newer to this sector of investment.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the capital market and key economic events.
  • Ability to conduct due diligence on RIA firms and craft creative approach tactics to new relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to data mine our CRM's to cultivate warm leads in conjunction with direction provided by sales leadership and enablement.
  • Outbound business development/ prospecting calls to advisors in the region, including prospecting Hot Lists and known Top Producers.
  • Building and maintaining the territory calendar, rotation and segmenting of advisors.
  • Scheduling the territory institutional director with producers, warm and hot prospects, and home offices as appropriate.
  • Educating producers and prospects on the investment solution, updating them on portfolio developments and current offerings.
  • Responding to inbound sales inquiries, literature requests and service issues.
  • Assist in analyzing territory sales data to determine opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and the operations department to resolve client issues/problems.
  • Build and manage the sales territory calendar and ranking of advisors.
  • Execute consistent follow up with advisors to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationships.
  • Drive attendance to various meetings, territory roadshows and firm events in support of your director and Inland teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
