About The Position

The Regional Associate Director of Medical Affairs - Gastrointestinal Oncology (RADMA) plays a crucial role in supporting the scientific and medical strategies of the Oncology Medical Affairs team. This position involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of medical affairs plans, focusing on improving patient care and access to innovative cancer treatments.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (M.D., PhD, PharmD) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Oncology experience is required.
  • Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously is required.
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a changing environment is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with U.S. healthcare treatment guidelines and regulatory processes is preferred.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, Medical or Scientific Affairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide region-specific strategic input into the development of global medical affairs plans.
  • Collaborate across various functional teams to align, prioritize, and guide execution of medical affairs plans.
  • Support the Regional Medical Affairs Team in executing agreed medical tactics.
  • Execute regional medical affair team meetings in collaboration with RDMA.
  • Collect and analyze scientific insights from multiple sources and propose follow-up actions.
  • Organize expert input events to address key clinical questions.
  • Manage regional programs to support the appropriate and safe utilization of the company's medicines.
  • Identify and improve processes to meet strategic goals of Oncology Medical Affairs.
