The Regional Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of multifamily properties in the San Antonio area. This role involves executing financial plans, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with operational standards across six properties totaling 1,450 units. The position requires strong leadership skills to motivate teams and drive property performance while maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

  • Oversee operational and financial aspects of apartment communities in the San Antonio surrounding area.
  • Conduct site visits every 5 - 10 days to ensure properties are compliant and operating optimally.
  • Prepare inspection evaluations and conduct at least one unannounced weekend visit monthly at all properties.
  • Source, hire, and train top talent for community positions, promoting from within when possible.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting through Yardi and maintain lease administration compliance.
  • Maintain open communication with the Asset Management Department and principals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships among diverse stakeholders.
  • Achieve occupancy objectives through effective leasing and resident retention strategies.
  • Enhance property value by meeting NOI targets and maximizing revenue.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance and execute expense control processes.
  • Ensure timely completion of approved capital projects within budget.
  • Oversee the annual budget process and deliver monthly reports to principals and investors.
  • Partner with the Marketing Director on reputation management strategies.
  • Participate in due diligence for acquisitions to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Strong financial acumen with knowledge of key performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Yardi software and ability to train others on its use.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and set goals for teams.
  • Experience in multifamily property management.
  • Familiarity with local and state legal requirements for property management.
