About The Position

CentiMark Corporation , the nation’s largest Commercial/Industrial roofing company, is seeking a Regional Area Marketer for its Midwest Region . This role offers a base salary of $50k with opportunity for commission or bonus structure for developed leads. This is a Sales/Marketing position that will support the Regional Sales team in marketing our roofing services throughout the Midwest Region. It is designed to be a minimum (2) year program, with the goal of placing his individual into a future Sales or Technical Representative role within the company. The role will be managed directly by the Regional Manager for the Region.

Requirements

  • Past sales or marketing experience is preferred
  • Must show a positive work ethic and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is needed
  • Must be well organized with solid time management skills.
  • Strong communication & writing skills
  • Good Relationship Building Skills
  • Excellent Follow-up Skills
  • Current and valid Driver’s License
  • Be able to lift objects up to 60 lbs., ascend ladders and perform work at elevated positions.
  • Perform travel (including overnight) as needed within the Region

Responsibilities

  • Research potential customers and performing cold calls on targeted potential clients
  • Market CentiMark’s features, benefits and success stories through such platforms as LinkedIn and X (Twitter)
  • Introducing prospects to CentiMark’s features and benefits
  • Call to prospect and set appointments for intro calls and meetings
  • Organize customer and prospecting events for each office in the Midwest Region
  • Follow up on old as well as existing proposals with clients and prospects
  • Assist the Regional Sales Team with their Top 50 Target Account efforts
  • Research market dynamics and industries to help form effective marketing programs
  • Join and get involved in appropriate networking organizations such as BOMA, NAIOP, IFMA, Hospital Engineering, etc. in order to market/highlight our unique service offering
  • Organize and participate in select trade shows that fit our customer profile
  • Learn and participate in CentiMark’s estimating and proposal writing programs
  • Perform joint calls with various Regional Sales staff
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with Regional Reps and National Accounts team as appropriate to target and develop new Opportunities/Customers for each
  • Attain monthly activity goals set by regional sales management
  • Learn and gain proficiency in all responsibilities associated with a regional sales role
  • Work with the Regional Rep on possible targets in an effort to grow our Regional Account business
