About The Position

Premier Aquatics is exciting to announce that we are now accepting applications for an Aquatic Regional Manager! We are looking for a self-motivated individual with leadership qualities who has at least one year of management experience in aquatics. Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned vet, if you are looking to start a career in public safety, Premier Aquatics could be the right home for you! As an Aquatic Regional Manager, you will organize, develop and facilitate lifeguard management services in Premier’s remote locations. In this role, you will ensure that lifeguards, head lifeguards and lifeguard managers can effectively prevent drowning and other injuries from occurring, as well as respond to aquatic emergencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of equivalent management experience
  • Experience performing administrative work duties
  • Can maintain accurate records
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise oral and written reports
  • Be able to work 40 hours a week and have one day of weekend availability
  • Drivers License/reliable transportation
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for 8 hours
  • Be able to obtain a StarGuard Instructor Certification, we will put you through a course

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with performing professional-level aquatics work
  • Can exercise independent judgment and decision making to adapt and modify methods and standards to meet variations in position objectives
  • Have 2 or more years of management experience.
  • Can work the hours required of the position, which may include evenings and weekends
  • StarGuard Elite Certification

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate community needs for program development
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of the team
  • Program planning for hiring events, training, and orientation
  • Oversight of daily operations at multiple locations including scheduling and staffing coverage
  • Ensure the safety of all visitors by enforcing facility and company policies
  • Respond to emergencies, provide backup assistance, or appropriate care as needed
  • Communicate with staff members and collaborate with other management teams
  • The general facility set up, inventory, and re-stocking
  • Complete daily reports
  • Incident reporting and debriefing
  • Establish a professional relationship with co-workers and clients
  • Conflict resolution with employees and patrons
  • Administer in-service training and evaluations
  • Embrace a dynamic workday and must be willing to step into a variety of positions
  • Assist with hiring and onboarding new staff members
