About The Position

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for developing and expanding JTI LIGGETT distribution and presence within new and existing regional chain accounts in an assigned region. This role significantly contributes to strategic business planning by providing valuable market insights, sales, and marketing strategies, and outlining clear goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of outside sales experience, preferably in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
  • Experienced managing chain and distributor relationships
  • Fluent English
  • Proven success in sales with chain category managers and high-level corporate contacts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated leadership and team collaboration at all levels
  • Strong consultative selling and fact-based negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, and secure new business accounts at the corporate level
  • Manage, identify and pursue opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts
  • Meet targeted sales growth and profit margins in line with the strategic business plan
  • Develop, build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within chain accounts
  • Regularly conduct chain sales calls and deliver impactful sales presentations
  • Provide market intelligence, including trends, competitive analysis, and external relations updates
