About The Position

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for representing Amgen products to top tier physicians and healthcare professionals, establishing product sales, and performing total strategic account management. This includes providing disease information and education to medical professionals that drive treatment decision making within academic or large scale private systems. The RAM will consistently achieve quarterly sales objectives through the promotion of patient-centered disease and product education to improve patient care while adhering to corporate compliance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree AND 2 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
  • Master's degree AND 6 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
  • Bachelor's degree AND 8 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
  • Associate degree AND 10 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years of in office injection/infusion sales experience.
  • Previous experience in a matrix selling environment.
  • Market development experience in rare, unmet spaces.
  • Demonstrated success educating HCPs about complex diseases.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Amgen products to top tier physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Establish product sales and perform total strategic account management.
  • Provide disease information and education to medical professionals.
  • Achieve quarterly sales objectives through patient-centered education.
  • Implement goals of the marketing plan through execution of strategic account business plan.
  • Drive strategic plans with exceptional precision and effectiveness.
  • Work in a matrix environment with other Specialty Account Managers and teams.
  • Engage in deep, strategic conversations with accounts and present appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Develop and maintain high-level disease and therapeutic knowledge.
