About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Account Manager to join our Engineering & Construction team in Itasca, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the engineering and construction sector, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction across the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the engineering and construction industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts
  • Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes, technologies, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools
  • Experience with financial analysis and contract negotiation
  • In-depth knowledge of local and regional construction regulations and standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required up to 50-60% of time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base and increase revenue in the assigned territory
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the engineering and construction industry
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and propose tailored solutions to meet client requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our services and expand our network
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management
