This opportunity is for a self-motivated and established outside sales professional who wants to sell innovative technology and contribute to solving crime. Flock is looking for a Regional Account Executive to join its growing Public Sector sales team, focusing on a single market, owning demand generation, partnerships, and full-cycle software sales.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of full cycle sales experience, with an emphasis on outside/field software sales.
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and produce results in a defined territory.
  • Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business within a defined territory.
  • Able to quickly digest and learn technical products, and become the subject matter expert for clients.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Energized by solving customer's problems (consultative sales approach).
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification as a condition of employment.
  • Meet all FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements, including a fingerprint-based background check.

Responsibilities

  • Learn the market, understand existing customers, meet peers, understand law enforcement (LE) use cases, and develop industry expertise to succeed in the territory within the first 30 days.
  • Pass Demo Certification to receive a Book of Accounts within the first 30 days.
  • Engage in outbound activity beyond normal required training and courses within the first 30 days.
  • Build territory and drive pipeline through outbound efforts, LE referrals, and territory management within the first 60 days.
  • Join Customer Success Manager (CSM) calls, set up weekly 1:1s with Director, and attend other internal cross-functional bi-weekly meetings within the first 60 days.
  • Participate in in-person shadowing, create 16+ opportunities, and close the first deal within the first 60 days.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, weekly and bi-weekly check-ins with Director and cross-functional teams from 90 days and beyond.
  • Meet with a current customer for a ride-along, a community liaison officer, and a dispatcher from 90 days and beyond.
  • Complete meetings with net new logos, create 20+ opportunities, and close 7 deals from 90 days and beyond.
