About The Position

We are looking for a Region Solar Operations Manager to join our Rexel USA team remotely! Summary: The Manager Region Solar Operations is responsible for support the procurement strategy of the Solar business unit. Additional responsibilities include regional vendor relations, cost implementation strategies, data analytics, and overall procurement and operations tasks.

Requirements

  • 4+ years business experience
  • 2+ years in purchasing role for Solar products
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Knowledge of Solar distribution industry, current market, customers, suppliers and competitors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate contracts
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Ability to call on upper management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solar product knowledge (Solar modules, inverters, racking, batteries, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Procure inventory to support future sales based on sales provided forecasts and historical sales data
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support National Accounts
  • Manage inventory health to ensure proper turns and avoid inventory obsolescence
  • Participate in Sales, Quality, and Service meetings
  • Interact with key suppliers to meet the procurement needs of the business
  • Develop pricing strategies in conjunction with sales staff to meet sales and margin objectives
  • Support local branches on submitted inventory requests for Solar
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction through customer and sales feedback
  • Review, develop, and implement processes for handling solar products in conformance with Manufacturer guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
