About The Position

The Region Sales Manager at Clorox will partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute business plans, focusing on driving growth in the Kroger account. This role involves fostering strong customer relationships, enhancing online experiences, and utilizing data insights to improve in-store execution. The position is critical in managing the Litter/Pet business and requires a strategic approach to sales and category management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CPG experience
  • Analytically minded
  • Intellectual curiosity to seek the why and how beyond the WHAT
  • Customer facing experience; Kroger experience is beneficial
  • Proficient on key Clorox/Sales analytical tools
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) and Power BI
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience concisely
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Consultative/Solution selling
  • Category Business Planning and Insights

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans that meet/exceed sales, profit, share, and trade efficiency targets for assigned businesses.
  • Lead and direct all activities to meet HH pen, conversion & sales targets, while mining insights into action.
  • Help develop and execute assortment strategy in-store and online, working directly with Clorox sales planning and Kroger buying teams.
  • Leverage 84.51 & Circana data to support strategy and maintain strong alignment with Kroger Category Manager on direction of key categories/segments.
  • Own the Litter/Pet business (65%).
  • Manage relationship with Crossmark and internal stakeholders for both businesses (25%).
  • Mine data and insights to develop strong selling strategies (10%).
