About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of progressive experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Demonstrated experience with HVAC equipment such as chillers, air handlers, pumps, and boilers.
• Experience with tools and methods used in engineering construction trades.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Nice To Haves

• Certification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Complete HVAC preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform like-in-kind Force Account system replacements.
• Work independently to complete assigned work assignments from a supervisor.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Assist the Coastal Region Maintenance Team with HVAC maintenance at various regional institutions.
