About The Position

The Region Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for leading and managing the Specialty Sales Representatives to meet or exceed sales goals within a designated geographical area. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and participation in various project teams related to product planning, marketing, and training.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic plans based on insights.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Experience with data analytics and market research.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical sales process and healthcare regulations.
  • Previous experience in a regional management role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure representatives adhere to the Call Plan, including Reach and Frequency target objectives.
  • Maintain full staffing through proactive recruiting and targeted selection of qualified candidates.
  • Ensure high levels of technical product competency and disease state knowledge among representatives.
  • Facilitate excellent product knowledge and Rx selling skills through training and coaching.
  • Apply the principles of the Situation Leader program to develop and resolve challenges with representatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate use of the SFA system by representatives, including maintenance of physician records and sales call documentation.
  • Implement product and sales strategies through effective regional tactical plans and motivate representatives to execute those plans.
  • Utilize key Amneal assets to maximize territory productivity and meet local customer needs.
  • Demonstrate strategic and tactical management of the field sales organization to meet performance expectations.
  • Lead and coach teams to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Participate in national management team activities, sharing best practices and contributing to business planning.
  • Complete all territory and region level administrative tasks accurately and timely.
  • Contribute to revenue and profit goals by managing expenses responsibly.
  • Lead Plan of Action meetings and collaborate with internal departments for effective meeting execution.
