About The Position

ERIK'S Market Leaders INTENT every day is to ensure each retail location within your region is performing at the highest level by; Driving the passion of ERIK'S AT OUR CORE, fostering a culture of OPPORTUNITY that strives to improve 1% each day, ensuring all SEATS ON THE BUS are occupied by the right folks, MAKING [SH]IT HAPPEN and of course, keeping it on RAILS. The primary responsibilities and areas of impact of this position include, but are not limited to: Ensure each location is HOSTING THE PARTY Ensure each location is maximizing all revenue opportunities. Ensure each location is supporting and executing all strategies as set forth by ERIK'S including but not limited to warranty, operations, merchandising, marketing and purchasing. Ensure each staff members employment experience meets ERIK'S standards and expectations Ensure each staff member is aware of and appropriately engaged in professional growth opportunities at ERIK'S Ensure all ERIK'S stores in region are appropriately staffed while efficiently managing payroll Create retail store schedule templates using historic sales and payroll data to maximize efficiency Monitor and manage payroll and budget to maximize performance and profitability Lead individual period review meetings with store managers, 3 times annually Interviewing of qualified applicants within set timeframes and parameters Coordinate with Store Managers to ensure high-performing individuals are in the correct seats on the bus at each location, and separating from those that lack the proper ability or willingness. Ensure Store Managers are consistently developing, coaching, providing feedback and holding staff accountable through use of appropriate documentation. Coordinate with Store Managers to respond to and address customer concerns, including but not limited to online reviews Ensure locations are properly aware of and properly trained on how to handle theft. Coordinate with all departments within ERIK'S HQ to ensure stores have needed support Ensure locations are properly supporting and executing all strategies as set forth by ERIK'S Coordinate with Market Trainer weekly to set training priorities and schedule accordingly Coordinate as directed, staff support for events Ensure required ERIK'S vehicle maintenance is kept up to date Reconcile monthly personal business expense reporting in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Proven track record as a successful ERIK'S Store Manager preferred.
  • Exceptional understanding of and belief in ERIK'S Pocket Field Guide, its purpose and proper utilization.
  • Strong understanding and proven ability to adhere to and, convey ERIK'S RAILS
  • Expert level knowledge of ERIK'S products and the activities they serve.
  • Passion and involvement in Cycling and Winter Sports represented at ERIK'S
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership qualities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and technology.
  • Dedication and flexibility to get the job done.
  • Valid state issued driver's license and positive driving record.
  • Ability to be properly covered under ERIK'S auto insurance
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor or service shop for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift to 100 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Frequent driving to ERIK'S Retail Store locations.
  • Ability to stay overnight for remote location visits and meetings.
  • Flexibility to work a various schedule including evening and weekends
