About The Position

The Regeneration Operator 2 is a pivotal position responsible for both mobile equipment regeneration and facility-wide water management operations. This role demands advanced proficiency in chemical handling, resin regeneration methodologies, wastewater management, and overall facility water balancing. The incumbent oversees the entire lifecycle of resin handling, including unloading, reloading onto various mobile equipment, and the supervision and monitoring of resin regeneration and wastewater treatment processes, while ensuring optimal water levels across the facility. Additionally, the Regeneration Operator 2 must possess the capability to act as a backup shift lead, exhibit strong leadership skills, and demonstrate thorough knowledge of all facility operations, encompassing dock activities, quality assurance protocols, and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Operating and monitoring regeneration equipment within proper equipment parameters
  • Handling resin unloading and loading processes in trailers and regeneration vessels, and maintaining proper equipment parameters
  • Oversee wastewater management during regeneration and maintain deionized water levels.
  • Executing plant startup up and shutdown procedures
  • Entering SAP production orders for mobile equipment and resin regenerations is vital to our operations. This process involves carefully inputting data into SAP to create orders that track refurbishment and resin regeneration, ensuring proper resource allocation, inventory management, and cost control. Accurate order entry supports equipment readiness and resin availability, enabling us to meet production requirements and maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct standard lab tests for quality control, regularly checking equipment specs, resin quality, and process efficiency. Tasks include pH, conductivity/resistivity, silica, and TDS testing.
  • Keep thorough records of all activities, including checklists, performance data, equipment issues, end-of-shift notes, and the wastewater tank discharge log.
  • Safety compliance requires following protocols, wearing proper PPE, and keeping the workspace clean. Be aware of chemical hazards, meet all safety requirements, and adhere to spill response procedures.
  • Strong communication with supervisors and team members, providing regular status updates and active participation in team meetings.
  • Contribution to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements, participating in training, and staying updated with industry best practices.
  • Assigning designated equipment to orders based on customer requirements and equipment specifications
  • Frequently will operate forklift
