About The Position

Regal Cinemas Elmwood Center in Buffalo, NY is looking for part-time cast members who are passionate about movies and want to be part of delivering the best possible service, cleanliness and movie-going experience to our guests in a diverse, fun, energetic and engaging environment. Requirements

  • Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
  • Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
  • Possess good public speaking skills, listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
  • Identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes of problems.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in customer service or retail environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guest service selling tickets, concessions and/or working as an usher.
  • Operate POS system, including the proper handling of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers' checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
  • Upsell/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner that is consistent with our guest service philosophy.
  • Operate, prepare and clean all concession related equipment.
  • Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
  • Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
  • Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums when necessary.
  • Conduct in-theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality.
  • Report to management any problems, discrepancies or unusual situations that arise at the theatre.
  • Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways and other areas outside of the auditorium.
