About The Position
Administers all modalities of Respiratory Care and related services to critical and non-critical care patients in accordance with both departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Acts in a Team Leader capacity to coordinate the daily operation of the Respiratory Care Services including patient assignment and shift reports. Assists with the orientation of new employees and acts as a resource for Therapists, Technicians, Physicians, and Nurses.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC and must be a licensed Respiratory Care professional in the state of Ohio.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with patients, other Respiratory Care personnel, physicians and nurses.
- Must be capable of demonstrating Respiratory Care policies, techniques and procedures.
- Must possess good knowledge and understanding of all Respiratory Care techniques including operation and function of related equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Six months clinical experience to include experience in critical care preferred.
