About The Position

Administers all modalities of Respiratory Care and related services to critical and non-critical care patients in accordance with both departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Acts in a Team Leader capacity to coordinate the daily operation of the Respiratory Care Services including patient assignment and shift reports. Assists with the orientation of new employees and acts as a resource for Therapists, Technicians, Physicians, and Nurses.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the NBRC.
• Must be a licensed Respiratory Care professional in the state of Ohio.
• Six months clinical experience, preferably in critical care.
• Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare personnel.
• Knowledge of Respiratory Care techniques and related equipment.
