Trillium Woods is recruiting for a hospitality focused Community Refurbishment Specialist to join our team!

Requirements

  • High school education.
  • 5 years or more experience in project management
  • Experience with process improvement.
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid Driver License with ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report is required.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Experience seeing projects through a full life cycle.
  • Team-oriented, with a focus on resident satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical Schooling and/or background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delegates project tasks based on Apartment Turnover staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
  • Tracks project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Operates projects in a manner that helps to meet budgetary objectives and makes adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis and/or residents’ specifications.
  • Uses and continually develops strong leadership skills.
  • Responsible for managing of cost, vendors, contractors and to stay within budget
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to allocate costs appropriately for each apartment.
  • Review material and contactor costs on a regular basis to ensure the best pricing.
  • On call as assigned, including assisting with unfilled security shifts when required.
  • Utilize low speed vehicles (i.e. golf cart) to transport self, equipment and debris across the community grounds when needed
  • Determine and define project scope and objectives and measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis with the Marketing Team and Plant Operations Director.
