Refurbish crates by inspecting their structural integrity, replacing missing parts and hardware, removing trash and old shipping labels, and ensuring overall quality.
Utilize hand tools such as grinders, hammers, drills, reciprocating saws, and scraping tools to complete crate refurbishment tasks.
Use spray paint to apply coatings to crates.
Lift and move crates weighing 20-30 lbs.
Operate cranes to move and transport materials.
Work in a welding environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Perform pressure washing to clean crates.
Maintain cleanliness in the work area by sweeping, mopping, and other general cleaning tasks.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, and face shields.
Provide your own steel toe boots.
Be willing to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work in a physically demanding role that involves bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
Proficient in using hand tools such as grinders, hammers, drills, reciprocating saws, and scraping tools.
Familiarity with spray painting techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
Ability to operate cranes is a plus.
Knowledge of welding processes and safety procedures is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Experience in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols in a welding environment.
