About The Position

Requirements

• Proficient in using hand tools such as grinders, hammers, drills, reciprocating saws, and scraping tools.
• Familiarity with spray painting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
• Ability to operate cranes is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding processes and safety procedures is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Refurbish crates by inspecting their structural integrity, replacing missing parts and hardware, removing trash and old shipping labels, and ensuring overall quality.
• Utilize hand tools such as grinders, hammers, drills, reciprocating saws, and scraping tools to complete crate refurbishment tasks.
• Use spray paint to apply coatings to crates.
• Lift and move crates weighing 20-30 lbs.
• Operate cranes to move and transport materials.
• Work in a welding environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform pressure washing to clean crates.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area by sweeping, mopping, and other general cleaning tasks.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including gloves, safety glasses, and face shields.
• Provide your own steel toe boots.
• Be willing to work overtime and some Saturdays as needed.
