Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Facility Services team as a Refurb Technician that is responsible for demo, clean-up and reconstruction of sold apartments. This full-time position with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters?
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, perform basic arithmetic and speak effectively. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
Nice To Haves
- Technical Schooling or experience with carpentry/building background and/or proven work history preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for tasks required to refurbish an apartment for resale.
- These may include, demolition work, moving interior walls, installing cabinets, installing showers, etc.
- Minor electrical and plumbing work required.
- Assist the Director in ordering parts to remodel the apartments.
