About The Position

This role will need to work in the Blue Ash, OH office. Position Summary This role is responsible for accurately processing refund checks and reissuing requests for customers in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs). The position requires close collaboration with the Refund Processing Team and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution of all refund-related activities. Success in this role demands exceptional attention to detail, adherence to SLA commitments, and a strong understanding of Green Dot terminology, account statuses, and system functionality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of operational experience, preferably in financial services or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet daily SLAs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage daily tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Process refund check requests and reissue requests with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Initiate customer communications to obtain required documentation for refund processing.
  • Update account records and Salesforce cases with relevant notes and status updates.
  • Verify previous check status and initiate stop payment requests when necessary.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed within defined SLA timeframes.
  • Crosstrain on additional refund processing functions to support team flexibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
