About The Position
The Refugee Walk-in Services Intern will support the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in providing essential services to new refugees and humanitarian immigrants in the DC Metro area. This role involves direct interaction with clients, assisting them in accessing internal and external programming and benefits, and ensuring they receive the necessary support during their resettlement process. The intern will gain valuable experience in a resettlement agency, focusing on client assessment, program enrollment, and communication with diverse populations.
