About The Position

Position Summary: Establishes and maintains effective relationships with youth, demonstrates appropriate boundaries, and ensures appropriate care and supervision. Essential Duties: · Acquires and demonstrates knowledge of Continuum of Care, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care and maintains a professional environment that is consistent with Title 22, licensing regulations, and established agency policies. · Demonstrates effective and consistent Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. · Maintains vigilant supervision of youth placed in 24/7 care. · Actively engages and encourages youth towards their treatment goals and in daily living. · Regularly transports youth to appointments, recreation activities, court, family visits, etc. · Prepares timely and accurate documentation. · Understands and retains instructions for complex tasks.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in related field qualifies as URMRW2 and will be paid at higher rate. URMRW1 without relevant degree must meet alternative minimum qualifications established by California Department of Social Services.
  • Experience working with immigrant or refugee populations required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver’s license.
  • Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and First Aid/CPR.
  • Must be able to understand and follow policy and procedures.
  • Must be able to document services, incidents, and other required forms/documents.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in a threshold language preferred.
