Requirements

Education: High School Diploma/GED required. 1 year of industrial/refrigeration maintenance experience education (I.E. possess industrial/refrigeration maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) a plus.
Experience: 1(+) years of industrial refrigeration experience or equivalent experience
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level
Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians, General Refrigeration Technicians, and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings.
Must Reside in the US to be considered, this role does not offer sponsorship.
Prior Team Members will NOT be considered for this role.
Special Skills: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day. Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop. Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling. Frequent overhead work. Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.

Nice To Haves

1 year of industrial/refrigeration maintenance experience education (I.E. possess industrial/refrigeration maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school)
Understanding boiler theory and the basic eleven IIAR Basic NH3 Refrigeration schematics
Candidates should be able to read and interpret blue prints, repair air compressors and evaluate pneumatic systems inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, HCFC systems, hot water, compressed air, and steam systems.
Proactive maintenance and refrigeration repairs, performing emergency mechanical or electrical repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
Pass a HAZ-Mat physical and pass the training to be certified as an Emergency Responder Technician Level and participate on the Emergency Response Team.
Responsible for minimizing downtime due to equipment and system failure.
