As a Refrigeration Technician, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our facility and influence company performance by maintaining our equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 1(+) years of industrial refrigeration experience or equivalent experience
  • Basic computer skills will be necessary to log information, to process daily work orders and to complete required documentation.
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • The ability to communicate effectively and basic math skills are necessary to perform this job at a satisfactorily level
  • Must Reside in the US to be considered, this role does not offer sponsorship.
  • Prior Team Members will NOT be considered for this role.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
  • Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Frequent overhead work.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of industrial/refrigeration maintenance experience education (I.E. possess industrial/refrigeration maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • With moderate supervision provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of ammonia refrigeration systems, HCFC systems, hot water, compressed air, and steam systems.
  • Proactive maintenance and refrigeration repairs, performing emergency mechanical or electrical repairs, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
  • Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment and the ability to effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
  • Minimize downtime due to equipment and system failure.
