About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position with approximate hours of 3PM to 1AM. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and performing evaluations and preventative and predictive maintenance on refrigeration systems according to the PM List and as instructed by leadership. The technician will monitor system performance and replace components within the refrigeration system, following safe LOTO procedures and in accordance with the PSM program. Troubleshooting equipment and recommending corrective actions are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the technician will complete work orders and PMs, ensuring all performed work is logged into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (APSM) daily. The role requires operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting ammonia refrigeration compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels, re-circulators, purgers, evaporators, valves, etc. Other relevant duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• MUST BE EXPERIENCED.
• RETA 1, or equivalent industrial ammonia refrigeration training such as Stellar, Frick, Lanier/GCAP, or employer training program.
• 1+ year experience operating and maintaining Ammonia Refrigeration systems required.
• 1+ year experience with electrical low and high voltage circuits required.
• Strong math skills and technically savvy.

Responsibilities
