About The Position
CoolSys is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team, bringing over 150 years of experience in providing market-leading indoor environment solutions. As a technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across various sectors including retail, commercial, food service, educational, healthcare, and industrial markets. The pay for this position ranges from $23 to $33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In this role, you will be expected to report to work in a timely manner as scheduled by your supervisor. You will perform repairs and overhauls on equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices. Testing malfunctioning systems and components using your electrical and mechanical skills will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also maintain accurate records of your work history and provide general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment. Preventative maintenance activities will be essential, as you will diagnose equipment malfunctions and assess the operating efficiency of mechanical equipment. Additionally, you may be involved in minor construction and remodeling projects, including the startup of new installations, and will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.
